My journey into off-camera lighting

Intro

This is my chronicle of my triumphs and tragedies with off-camera lighting. This is something I am brand new at and I owe it all to Strobist.

Acquiring the gear

First, I need some gear. Light stand, umbrella, wireless trigger, backup PC cord and what not.

  • Won Bidding on a gently used Vivitar 285HV via eBay
• 2007-07-27
  • Received everything except my 285HV
